FAQs

What’s the difference between coaching and therapy?

Coaching is future-focused and centered on helping you move forward, build new habits, and reconnect with your body using mind-body tools. While I am also a therapist, my coaching work is not clinical therapy, it's a more collaborative, holistic approach for people looking to heal chronic symptoms and create lasting change.

What does a typical coaching session look like?

Each 50-minute session is customized for you. We’ll use a blend of education, somatic tools, emotional processing, and nervous system regulation practices. You’ll also get personalized practices, audio recordings, and messaging access to support you between sessions.

Do you offer coaching in Spanish?

Yes. As a first-generation Latina, I offer bilingual coaching and love supporting Spanish-speaking clients.

What’s your refund or cancellation policy?

Cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours’ notice via email. I do not offer refunds for no-shows or late cancellations, but I’m always happy to reschedule with proper notice.

Please note: if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your session, I may not be able to accommodate you, and the full session fee will still apply.

How do I book you for a workshop, retreat, or corporate event?

Head to the contact section or speaking page to inquire. Be sure to include your event type, date, group size, and what you’re envisioning so I can send over a custom quote.

I’ve tried everything for my chronic pain. How do I know this will work for me?

If you’ve ruled out serious medical issues and are still in pain, there’s a high chance your nervous system and brain wiring are playing a role. I use science-backed tools like Pain Reprocessing Therapy, which have helped many clients feel real relief, even when nothing else has worked. Together, we’ll continue to assess your symptoms through a neuroplastic lens in coaching to ensure we’re targeting the root causes and building the most effective healing path for you.

Do I still need to see a doctor or medical provider if I work with you?

Yes. While I specialize in mind-body coaching and use evidence-based tools to support chronic pain recovery, I am not a medical doctor and do not diagnose medical conditions. If you’re experiencing new or worsening symptoms, it’s important to consult with your healthcare provider. I always encourage clients to stay in touch with appropriate medical experts while we explore the nervous system’s role in their pain. Our work can complement, not replace, your medical care.

What are the limits of your services?

I do not provide diagnoses, medical advice, or prescribe treatments. My role is to support you in understanding how your nervous system, brain, and emotions may be contributing to chronic symptoms—and to guide you using mind-body tools. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.
